A shared vision for the modern home

At VitraHaus, Reform’s REFLECT kitchen is featured as part of an evolving installation that explores the art of contemporary living. Designed to blur the boundaries between function and form, the space presents a curated vision of the modern home—combining furniture, objects, and architecture in a thoughtful dialogue. Within the kitchen area, REFLECT stands as a statement, showcasing Nouvel’s talent for conceptualizing light through materials as the kitchen’s reflective surface in stainless steel subtly interacts with the surroundings, creating a constantly changing visual expression.

“The interplay of contrasting materials creates a sense of subtle tension. With graphic flair and elegance, we've reinterpreted the spirit of the 1980s for today.”

A kitchen designed to reflect its surrounding

Architect Jean Nouvel’s REFLECT explores how we see and experience space. Throughout the day, its brushed metal surfaces respond to light and movement, shifting in tone and texture. The design softens industrial clarity with a tactile, architectural sensibility—revealing new expressions from every angle.
