We were curious about what Magnus got up to in his new BASIS kitchen, so we asked him a few questions about the feel and functionality of the kitchen and the experience of getting a new kitchen.
“We chose BASIS because of its classic and timeless design. Also, I personally love linoleum. I’m a chef and it’s a great material to work with for a variety of reasons. First of all, it’s really durable. Adding to that, I’m a bit of sound enthusiast, and when you place an object on the material it hardly makes a sound. I really like that.
The next step was getting in touch with the Reform team, and setting the ordering process in motion. I spent quite a bit of time drawing and planning the kitchen because I really enjoy doing it. The personal handling of my case was excellent. We always had the feeling that it was given care and attention.
Our new kitchen is durable, it feels classic yet modern and I love cooking in it. The drawers are also still surprisingly tight – in spite of the fact that it contains quite a bit of heavy ceramics from Bornholm.”
