A former conservatory is transformed into a contemporary kitchen
WHO: Caroline, Mikkel, Norr, and Karl
LOCATION: Private home in Holte, Denmark
KITCHEN: PROFILE collection
When this family decided to turn their small, low-ceiled conservatory into a kitchen, they knew they would have to find design solutions to make the space as functional and beautiful as possible, while creating access to the garden and providing plenty of light. With the goal of making the kitchen the center of the home for this family of four, the homeowners focused on designing with timeless and durable materials. Including a large fridge and their beloved coffeemaker was top-of-mind, ensuring that the kitchen would be a place for people to gather, cook, and spend time together.
The homeowners chose the PROFILE collection in 'Sand', with wooden drawers and cabinets in oak laminate. The countertop is marble. They maximized the ceiling height for storage space, adding cabinets that wouldn’t take too much space visually while maintaining the minimalist look of the space. Reform’s customizable, modular design made this not only possible but also beautiful.
